At McCallum Timber Buildings we have a small but very highly skilled workforce who take great care in the quality of their work. No timber building is too big or too small for us to consider. We have a price list with a list of standard sheds but will be happy to quote you for any size that suits your needs. We will also be happy to make a site visit to view the area and discuss your needs. All outbuildings quoted for are delivered and erected on site within a 50-mile radius mainland.
Sustainable Resources
We only use top-quality imported timber on all our buildings which comes from guaranteed sustainable resources. Most of our timber is sourced from Europe and imported. The chilly weather means the timber is slower growing giving a better quality, which makes McCallum Timber Buildings stand out from other timber companies. We offer a quality service with a quality product with a name you can trust. Due to our build quality, our timber buildings stand the test of time.
Wood Preservation
As with all timber that is outside you will have to maintain it, so for that reason, please make sure when your shed is erected you have sufficient space around it. We recommend that you use a good quality solvent-based wood preserver. A coat of wood preserver once a year will prolong the life of your shed. We have in stock a wide range of colours of Kingfisher Wood Preservation which contains a stalox waterproofing that provides added protection from the elements for years to come. The most popular colours are: Red Cedar, Holly Green, Golden Brown, and Dark Brown, if you wish any other colour this can be ordered for you. With the wood preserver being a solvent-based product this repels the water and preserves the quality of your outbuilding.
